Scout Camp 2007

The Scouts will be camping at Phasels wood scout Activity centre
22nd july - 29thjuly. activities include rock climbing, abseiling, rile shooting and lots more.

Cubs Camp 2007

This years camp will be to celebrate 100 years since Scouting began, we are taking the Cubs to Tolmers Scout Camp at Cuffley near Potters Bar. The Camp will take place from Tuesday 24th July 2007 - Friday 27th July.

Scout Camp 2006

SUNDAY 6 – SUNDAY 13 AUGUST 2006

‘CamJam 2006 is to be held at an exciting new venue’

Come along and join us for six full days of fun and activities.

Where?

Huntingdon Racecourse is in the centre of the historic County of Cambridgeshire famous across the world for it’s universities and is created around the beautiful river Ouse and its fascinating and vibrant market towns. It is the land of Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector of England; Samuel Pepys, the diarist and Katherine of Aragon, 1st wife of Henry VIII.

The A1 and A14 links us to the four points of the compass, and with good Road, Rail, Coach and Air travel connections you should have no trouble reaching us.

Who may come?

All members of both the Scout & Guide organisations between the ages of 10.5 and 18 years. Scouts & Guides over the age of 18 will be welcome to serve as members of the staff subject to a letter of recommendation from their District/Division Commissioner.

Equipment

Each group must provide all its own equipment, tents, etc. Arrangements can be made to accept heavy equipment in advance. Groups coming from abroad may hire equipment as necessary – further details from the booking secretary.
All cooking must be on gas stoves, open fires are not permitted.

Camp Fee

The camp fee for members will be £150.00 and for Leaders £100.00. This will include the camp badge, handbook, subcamp necker and badge together with activities/outings for the young people and outings for the leadership. The fee excludes the cost of food, travel and camping equipment.

 

Cubs Camp 2006

 

Dear All, this years Camp will be from July 25th 2006 - Friday 28th July 2006 and will be held at Phasels wood scout Activity centre. We will be camping and using the marquee to eat and cook in.

There will be lots of on site activities including climbing, abeiling, sledge run, shooting, archery, orienteering and pot holing.

The price for this years camp will be £55.00 this includes all your transport, food, camping fees and activities. We will open our camp bank as from next week (February) and you may pay into this on a weekly basis to spread the cost.

Please fill in the permission to camp form and return this as soon as possible. Any questions then please do ring Akela .

Scout Camp 2005


Scout Camp this year is at Tolmers Scout and Activity Campsite, we are attending their activity fortnight called CTT 2005.

Date are 6th to 13th August 2005.

This year we have 16 members attending the camp which is great.

Cubs Camp 2005

The Cubs will be visiting Abington (heres the map) in July, we held camp here last year and had so much rain even the ducks started to grumble so our intrepid gang are going for a second round and Akela ensures us he has ordered the sunshine this year. Activities will include camp fires(of course), outdoor cooking, mini pioneering, sports, hiking, trip to the zoo, wide games, badges and lots more.

The cost will be £45, there is an option to pay weekly, see akela if you require further details.

We will have at least three adults on the camp but if any parent would like to come along and help then please let Akela know
